Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
An extra layer of security that protects your account even if your password leaks.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds a second security step when you log in.
After entering your password, you must confirm with a code or device —
for example, through Google Authenticator, Authy, or a hardware key.
Why it matters
- Protects against password theft or phishing
- Makes it much harder for hackers to access your account
- Required by most crypto exchanges and wallets for withdrawals or login
💡 Lanzo Tip
Always use app-based 2FA (like Google Authenticator)
instead of SMS codes, which can be stolen via SIM swap attacks.
