MFA / 2FA
A second security step that protects your account even if your password leaks.
MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) or 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)
adds an extra security layer to your crypto accounts.
Instead of logging in with just a password, you also confirm using:
- A code from an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy)
- A hardware key (like YubiKey)
- Or a one-time code via SMS (less secure)
This makes it much harder for hackers to access your account,
even if they know your password.
💡 Lanzo Tip
Always use app-based 2FA, not SMS.
SIM swaps happen — your phone number isn’t your identity 🔒
